- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I called this bank for some very basic information and they asked me for a tax ID number over the phone. The phone - where anyone with a scanner can intercept that information! I told them to stuff it. Would they want my date of birth and mother's maiden name over the phone next? Why not simply advertise "IDENTITY THEFT SERVICES" too? Not only is requiring a TAX-ID for basic information a VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW, - it is extremely perilous to the customer. This bank gets an "F" rating for "FAIL". From the slew of other negative posts I've read about them - the "F" rating is well earned.By Gimmel Yod, November 25, 2016
